Beware When The Government Reveals "The Truth"
On the Dangers of Conspiracy Theories and Disclosures of Hidden Truths
Recently the Gallery of Magick posted an article called UAP Disclosure: Implications for Magick and Spiritual Belief. I was surprised they would write on this topic and I immediately wanted to write a response but I was away for my grandfather’s memorial and couldn’t find the time. This turned out to be a good thing as it has given me space to reflect on both the phenomenon, the narratives that are being discussed, and about other events that are having similar narratives pushed on them.
The Gallery’s article basically said that some form of disclosure may be coming. Former president Obama said on a podcast that aliens are real. He then went on the say that he meant he believed they were real because statistically there is a good chance we are not alone in the universe, but that he has seen no evidence. There’s nothing in Area 51 for example. But most clips only showed him saying that aliens were real very matter of factly. The press asked Trump and his first reaction was to say Obama should not have said that, but that he would look into releasing what the government has on it. Then the Vice President went on a podcast where he said that UAPs (the new term for UFOs and stands for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) are demons. That as a Christian he falls back into his faith to explain mysterious phenomenon. The article then goes on to say they believe that the Vice President was speaking his truth, but that this is also part of a narrative that is being formed. That the administration will try to say that aliens and UAPs are actually demons. Then they go on to say they do not agree, that they are not angels or demons but a unique and mysterious phenomenon.
I agree for the most part. I want to be clear that I do not claim to know what is behind this or other mysterious phenomenon. I have ideas and theories like most people, but I do not know. Nor do I have any strong beliefs. The only way that I really differ from what the Gallery said is that I am not even willing to say they are not angels or demons. I truly do not know and am not willing to shut any doors completely.
While flying on a plane a year or two ago I read a book called UFO of God by Chris Bledsoe. In that book he tells several stories about his encounters with UFOs and otherworldly beings. One of which he calls the Lady. He believes they are angels and that the Lady is a high ranking heavenly figure and has a message that will be revealed when a certain astrological event takes place that many people say will be this Easter or perhaps later in the fall. This book resonated with me because the Lady is similar to figures in John Dee’s angelic conversations such as Galvah or Madimi. So I wanted to believe. Plus Chris Bledsoe sees UAPs almost every night. Wherever he is at night there are orbs flying in the sky. This is heavily documented. He mentions that he can pass on the ability to others which interested me because it sounded like an attunement.
I considered flying out to one of his appearances and seeing if he would pass it to me, but I thought twice about it. For one, he is a very conservative Christian and many of the appearances he was making at the time were are evangelical Churches I would not feel at all comfortable in. He has also become friends with many members of the intelligence community. He seems to always be surrounded by people in the CIA and military intelligence. He claims they are fascinated by him and other people who receive communication from these types of beings because they refuse to communicate with anyone from the government. That’s a reasonable statement I bought at first.
There was another story I heard once a medium the government worked with. They had her in a government building when an orb appeared outside the window. They asked it to talk to them through the medium and she kept repeating, “ag.” If you look up ag in the Enochian Dictionary it means no. So if this was an angel and if it was speaking Enochian through the medium, it was telling them “no, we won’t speak to you.”
So based on that story and what Chris Bledsoe claimed the intelligence people had told him I figured that was a good explanation. They wanted to know what these beings were saying and since they refused to talk to them directly they wanted to hang around with people they did talk to and Chris Bledsoe is a conservative patriotic American who trusts these people so lets them hang around.
But I don’t trust the CIA or the wider intelligence community. It is possible that the Bledsoe family is being manipulated. I do not think he is lying, but I think they are possibly the most psyoped family in the country. Without going into too much detail many of the most famous channeled communications with higher beings such as The Law of One with Ra and the Council of Nine had people associated with the CIA involved. It seems like at one point the CIA wanted to create a new religion out of the New Age movement. So seeing them similarly associated with Chris Bledsoe is a red flag. So I stayed away.
So there is a part of me that wants to believe Chris Bledsoe when he says what we think are aliens are actually angels. And that helps me understand why J. D. Vance would think they are demons. But I also understand why the Gallery of Magick is concerned about the administration creating a narrative like this. Because it is happening in another major story that’s in the news now, the Epstein Files.
How many times have you heard someone say, “Qanon was right!” I think a lot of us had similar thoughts. But if we look at the facts and at what Qanon and other conspiracy theorists were saying, they don’t match up, and any attempt to make them match up is creating a very specific narrative. Yes, there was a conspiracy of rich and powerful people abusing children in the worst ways. But they were not a cabal of Satanists doing occult rituals and sacrificing children to Baal or Moloch. But that is the story that we are hearing. It is the narrative that is being created.
Now the question we have to ask ourselves is why would the administration and intelligence agencies want us to believe that the Epstein class worships Satan and that aliens are demons or angels? Because it reinforces the Christian worldview.
The current administration is very much pushing Christian Nationalism. They want to paint America as a Christian nation. Christians are the main in group of the time. Any one not Christian is being othered. So they want to continue to push the Christian worldview and reinforce it by saying the bad people aren’t just the rich and powerful, they are Satanists. And the weird phenomenon are either angels or demons. It all reinforces their current narrative. Christianity is an easy way to manipulate people because on its surface it’s a dualistic religion with God, Jesus, and the angels on one side and Satan and his demons on the other. All you have to do to turn people against another group is paint them as servants of the devil.
If you need another example just look at how the war with Iran is being framed. Troops have reported that their commanders are saying this war is a holy war that will lead to the battle of Armageddon and the return of Christ. People on TikTok are making videos of them dancing because the war will bring the second coming of Christ. It’s not only disturbing, but it’s frightening.
I worry we are on the verge of another Satanic Panic. If things get really bad we may even have witch hunts again. You could see the stirrings of that when that story came out about Etsy witches cursing Charlie Kirk right before he was killed.
The historical witch hunts didn’t come from historical interpretations of Christian theology. They came from a conspiracy theory. I know people tend to believe the Church always hunted and killed pagans and witches but that just isn’t true. After most of Europe converted the Church couldn’t care less if you or a small group of people were pagan or practiced magick. What they cared about was heresy. They burned heretics, not witches, in the Middle Ages. The witch hunts started in the early Modern period. They were inspired by a conspiracy theory of the time. A fanatic who hated women wrote a book, lied to the Pope and got him to sign it, then went around preaching his crazy conspiracy that the devil was trying to destroy the Church by recruiting people to spread discord and suffering through black magic. He thought women were weaker willed and more easily seduced by the devil so they suffered the brunt of it. When the Pope actually read the book he was horrified and removed his stamp of approval but it was too late. When the Reformation happened the conspiracy theory was incorporated into some Protestant theology and persists to this day. But it all began with one man who spread his harmful ideas and led to the horrifying deaths of thousands and thousands of innocent women and men. The vast majority of whom didn’t practice any kind of actual magick or paganism.
It happened again in the 80’s and 90’s. People were arrested and convicted of crimes they were innocent of just because they looked like the popular image of Satan worshippers. In reality they were just different or liked heavy metal.
Disclosure may be coming. But take anything they release with a grain of salt. Personally I’m suspicious of anything this administration releases, and of what they don’t.
As mystics and occultists we should be aware that culture is a tool. One that is used to manipulate populations. Conspiracy theories have become effective tools to manipulate culture. I think of them as the second level of the Matrix. Remember in the second Matrix movie how it is revealed that Zion and the resistance were all part of the machine’s system of control? That way they are secretly controlling the population that is asleep through the Matrix and they are also secretly controlling the people who believe they have freed themselves from the Matrix. That’s what conspiracy theories are. You may think you are awake and free from the Matrix, that you are fighting the system, but really they made up or manipulated the alternative narratives just as much as the mainstream ones and you aren’t fighting anything but just dancing to another of their tunes.
It’s good to pay attention and have theories. But don’t fall into the trap of believing a theory. I like the idea that UAPs are angels. But I wouldn’t say I believe it. Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t. More than likely they aren’t angels or demons but something else. Something more akin to fairies. Maybe they are elementals. Spirits of air and water. Maybe it’s something else completely different. Or maybe they are extraterrestrials visiting from another planet. I’m open to all of these possibilities but I’m not married to any of them. That way I’m open to the truth when or if new evidence comes to light. That way I’m not as open to being manipulated because I don’t have strong feelings for anyone to use against me.
We live in remarkable yet dangerous times when many things that were long hidden are coming to light. In times like these information and misinformation are both powerful weapons. Arm yourself with good information and critical thinking. Always ask yourself if your beliefs are being manipulated. Does this new conspiracy theory make a certain government, political party, or politician look like the hero coming to save the day while making the other side look like villains? Is it subtly pushing you into seeing the world the way they do? Who benefits from me believing this? Most modern conspiracy theories have a political slant. It’s not like the old days when the JKF assassination made you distrust the government in general. Now they tell you one party is evil while the other is good. The manipulation is so obvious. I don’t know how we ever let them get away with that. Never trust the people in power. Any of them. Occultists especially should know better.
Don’t take my word for it. Think for yourselves. Make your own decisions. It’s one of the only real freedoms we have so don’t give it away to anyone else.

Interesting thoughts. Now, I'm not US resident and would not like to be frankly, but I don't trust your government either. As for aliens, angels, demons, gods... I agree. You look at some benign TV shows or films like Stargate, Men in Black, Lucifer... and it makes you think. Don't think we should develop paranoia, while some are medical conditions, that doesn't mean they don't really see something. But, yes, definitions are always man made, one person usually, and if that one is biased or narrow minded, not to mention intellectually incapable of critical thinking, we should think for ourselves. As a kid and much younger gal, I read loads of SF, fantasy but also philosophy books that had me thinking. And as a scientist (biology, but I discuss other things with colleagues to check if they have opinion in their field) I have developed some of my theories, and they sound plausible to me. Whether it may be explained, proven or calculated, it's not my job. Not saying I'm right, but ... anything is probable I guess, as they say that science is when they explain something people considered magic before. As I love both magic and science, it's all Nature to me and I enjoy it. So I'm Gnostic atheist or call me Luciferian Witch if you will. I don't care, don't believe, like things that make sense to me and trust my judgement but I'm also willing to change my mind if someone has better explanation.
I think one has to be very wary of accepting an America-centric view of any of this. Here in the UK, the idea of government being run by evangelical Christians is so far from the reality that it would be laughable. The samw goes for France and Germany.
